Growing up traveling through Texas, Julia Parker first fell in love with photography through her father’s influence. As a young girl, she studied the composition of the land—and later, as a cosmetologist, she developed an eye for the unique beauty in every face. Her love for music and fashion has also shaped her creative lens, fueling her passion for fashion and design photography. These influences have helped refine her eye into a modern, clean style that resonates with today’s visual culture. Being a self-taught photographer and editor is one of her proudest achievements. As a woman, wife, and mother, she sees perseverance and ingenuity as gifts from God—qualities that helped her build Visual Proximity alongside her husband, Jason.
